1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using JoltCall (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and JoltCall (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By using the App, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the App and agree to these Terms.

2. Service Description

JoltCall is a mobile entertainment application that simulates fake incoming video calls for prank and entertainment purposes. The App provides the following core features:

  • Simulated incoming video call screens with pre-designed fictional characters and user-imported contacts.
  • Scheduled call timers that trigger a fake incoming call after a user-defined delay.
  • Live camera picture-in-picture overlay to enhance the realism of the simulated call.
  • Custom caller creation with user-provided photos and names.
  • Social sharing of prank moments.

Important: JoltCall does NOT make real phone calls. No actual telephone connection, VoIP call, or data transmission to another person occurs. All characters displayed in the App are entirely fictional and do not represent any real individuals. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

3. User Responsibilities

JoltCall is designed exclusively for lighthearted entertainment and harmless pranks among friends, family, and acquaintances. By using the App, you agree to the following:

  • Entertainment Only: You will use the App solely for entertainment purposes. You acknowledge that the App is a prank tool and should be used in good fun with people who will appreciate the humor.
  • No Harassment: You will not use the App to harass, bully, intimidate, or cause emotional distress to any person. Using a fake police or authority figure call to genuinely frighten someone beyond a harmless prank is a misuse of the App.
  • No Threats: You will not use the App to make fake threats, fake emergency situations, or simulate dangerous scenarios that could cause panic or lead to emergency service responses.
  • No Impersonation: You will not use the App to impersonate real law enforcement officers, government officials, medical professionals, or any other real individuals with the intent to deceive, defraud, or cause harm.
  • No Illegal Activity: You will not use the App in any manner that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws or regulations.

You are solely responsible for how you use the App and for any consequences that arise from your use. We are not liable for any misuse of the App by users.

4. In-App Purchases

JoltCall offers a Premium subscription that provides additional features such as unlimited calls, all characters, and an ad-free experience. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

  • Auto-Renewal: Premium subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal price will be the same as the original subscription price unless we notify you of a price change in advance.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS) subscription management settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to Premium features until your current period expires.
  • Refunds: Refund requests are handled by the respective app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) in accordance with their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, contact Google Play Support or Apple App Store Support.
  • Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Any price changes will be communicated in advance and will take effect at the start of your next billing period. You will have the option to cancel before the new price takes effect.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, functionality, design elements, trademarks, logos, characters, animations, sounds, and code within JoltCall are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works based on the App or its content.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
  • Use the App's characters, branding, or content for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

6. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy. You can read the full Privacy Policy at joltcall.app/privacy.

7. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The App will function uninterrupted, securely, or error-free.
  • Any defects or errors will be corrected.
  • The App is free of viruses or other harmful components.
  • The results of using the App will meet your expectations.

JoltCall is NOT a real calling application. It does not establish real telephone connections, does not connect to emergency services, and should never be used as a substitute for real communication. The App is purely a simulation for entertainment purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL JOLTCALL, ITS DEVELOPERS, AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH:

  • Your use or inability to use the App.
  • Any conduct or content of any third party related to the App.
  • Any content obtained from the App.
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your data.
  • Any consequences arising from pranks performed using the App.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) FIFTY UNITED STATES DOLLARS ($50.00) OR (B) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO US FOR THE APP DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your license to use the App will immediately cease.
  • You must delete all copies of the App from your devices.
  • Any active Premium subscription will not be refunded for the remaining period, except as required by applicable law or app store policies.
  • Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law.

You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device and canceling any active subscriptions.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
  • Provide notice within the App, such as a banner or pop-up notification.
  • For significant changes, we may require you to affirmatively accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the App.

Your continued use of the App after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App and uninstall it.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, or the breach, termination, or invalidity thereof, shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, Republic of Turkey. You irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts and waive any objection to the inconvenience of such forum.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable, or if modification is not possible, it shall be severed from these Terms. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect.
